🎧 Audio StoryIt's a short story that's read aloud, with pictures, that stops for questions along the way. Staff click
â–¶ Start, and it plays each step in order.
- Pages - the tabs across the top, the same as Story / Scenario Walkthrough. + Add Page adds the next part of the story after the page you're on. Use ↑ ↓ on a tab to reorder pages and ✕ to delete one. 💠on a tab means that page asks a question; 🔊 means it has a clip.
- How it plays - each page plays its clip with its words on screen. A page with no answers moves on by itself when its clip ends (a page without a clip shows its Continue button right away). A page with answers stops and asks: a wrong answer plays its feedback and lets staff try again; the right answer plays its feedback, then the story moves on. The last page waits for its green Continue button, which completes the story.
- Placing things - every page is shown at the same width staff see. Drag pictures, answers, the feedback box, and the buttons directly; move Title and Words by their Drag to move strip. Resize from the dark corner. The position shows at the top right while you drag.
- Words - click into the words box on the page and type. Words are required on every page and on every answer's feedback - they show on screen like captions, so the story works for staff without speakers or headphones, or who are hard of hearing.
- Styling - click into the Title or Words, or pick a piece with a 🎨 button (Continue Button, Answer Text, Feedback, Replay Button), then use Font, B, I, Size, and Font Color. In the Title and Words, highlight words first to style just those words; with nothing highlighted, it styles the whole box. Continue Background sets the Continue button's color - change it if your page background is green too. Each page has its own Page Height and Page Background.
- Title and Words - every page has a title box at the top and a words box under it, the same as Story. Each has a ✥ Drag to move strip along its top and a dark corner at the bottom right to stretch or shrink it. Page 1's title is the story's name - it's shown on the Start screen and in the module's list. A title left empty doesn't show for staff.
- 📤 Add a Picture adds a picture to the page you're on. Drag it anywhere, resize it from its corner, and click its red ✕ to remove it.
- Below the page - the page's audio clip, the Continue button's text, and 💠Answers: add answers to make the page ask a question, mark the correct one, and give each answer its feedback words and an optional feedback clip.
- Staff must listen (checked by default) - staff can't skip ahead, or answer, until each clip finishes. Uncheck it to let them.
Audio tips: save clips as
MP3, 64 kbps mono - clear for speech and about 0.5 MB per minute. Record your own voice, or use an AI text-to-speech tool. Keep each clip short: one part of the story per step makes it easy to fix one line later. You'll be asked to check if a clip is over 5 MB, since that usually means a mistake (like a music file).
